Justine Otto

The Polish-German artist Justine Otto was born in Zabrze, Poland, in 1974 and came to Germany at the age of eight. Starting in 1996, while a student of Peter Angermann and Michael Krebber at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Küste (Städelschule) in Frankfurt am Main, she was active in the workshops for stage sets and props at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt am Main. She was made a master student in free painting in 2003. Justine Otto has been exhibiting in Germany and abroad since 1998 and is widely regarded as a leading exponent of contemporary painting.
